Dawn Gillow

Dawn Gillow is the owner of Gillow's Tax Service LLC and co-founder of Where The Needs Lead Us, a nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals and families in need throughout the community. With more than 30 years of tax preparation experience, Dawn is passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners make informed financial decisions with confidence.

 

Before launching Gillow's Tax Service, Dawn spent 9½ years working alongside a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), building a strong foundation in tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and client service. Today, she combines that experience with decades of hands-on expertise to provide practical financial guidance tailored to each client's unique goals.

 

In addition to her tax expertise, Dawn is a licensed life insurance professional, licensed investment professional, and licensed mortgage loan originator (NMLS #2222882). Her diverse background allows clients to work with one trusted advisor for many of life's most important financial decisions - from tax planning and retirement strategies to insurance, investments, mortgages, and business services.

 

What began as preparing tax returns for family and friends has grown into a full-service financial firm serving more than 650 clients, offering tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial services, and business support. Throughout her career, Dawn has prepared thousands of individual and business tax returns while helping clients navigate an ever-changing tax landscape with clarity and confidence.

 

Giving back has always been at the heart of Dawn's work. After helping coordinate relief efforts for families impacted by the 2024 hurricanes in Tennessee and North Carolina, Dawn and her husband, Kevin, founded Where The Needs Lead Us to continue serving people facing hardship both locally and beyond. Through both her business and nonprofit work, Dawn remains committed to making a meaningful difference—one family, one client, and one community at a time.
